Exhibiting at Salon Privé last September was once again a very special event held at the stunning venue of Blenheim Palace. I was delighted to have been asked by the sponsor for the prestigious Concours d'Elegance event,  Chubb Insurance, to create a one off bespoke art work as part of their prize. This world class event attracts the rarest and most significant classic cars and motorbikes. The winner in the draw for all the entrants, which was held at the Gala dinner on the first evening, was the wonderful 1960 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint Zagato. I showed my new Classic car prints at the Wimbledon Art Open Studios exclusively last weekend. They had a fantastic response resulting in good sales and commissions for other sizes. So I am extremely happy as they will now be making there way to Galleries later in the year, and some are off to South Africa next month. Exciting that I have also had interest from various Classic Car events and owners of the cars themselves. A busy weekend working on the next cars to add to my collection, an Aston Martin DB5, an E Type Jaguar ( actually my favourite I would love to own one, some day)  a racy Lotus Esprit and a Porsche 911. Screen printed Vintage cine camera

I have finished these 3 colour way, limited edition screen prints, of one of my vintage cine cameras! I have really enjoyed printing these on a much larger scale than the others i have done, these are A1. It's been great for me to have to get used to over laying colour and  build up as I go, as I usually print the colour straight on to the white of the paper. So its been a bit of an experiment for me this time and it's been really fun! So I will just have to decide which other ones to do to add to this series. How amazing that here is the amazing Ferrari 250 Testarossa, at a newly opened classic car showroom, down the road from me! I have already got my art work ready to get going on my next lot of prints, a new car collection. I have done quite a few car prints already , the E type Jaguar, being one of my favourite ones.
